Overview
The focus of Enviros India has been to address the core challenges of treating high-toxic waste streams. Continuous innovations have been made to facilitate the treatment of high-COD effluents, decrease the ETP footprint, and reduce sludge generation to simplify solid waste management. Enviros India's Electro-Catalytic Oxidation Technology (ECOT®) was developed in-house through relentless R&D efforts to overcome the shortcomings of conventional treatment methodologies and supersede the two-stage chemical & bio-decomposition process.
Evaporator Efficiency
The pre-treatment of high-strength mother liquor effluent significantly improves the evaporator’s steam efficiency, reducing its operating costs and maintenance routines. Low-COD condensate is guaranteed while the quality of salt crystallized by the dryer is enhanced.
Smaller Civil Footprint
The rapid action of the electro-catalyst has shorter treatment durations that require lesser Hydraulic Retention Times (HRT). Thereby, this requires smaller civil infrastructure and minimizes air blower operation.
Lower Sludge Generation
The electro-oxidation process and usage of advanced polymer coagulants generate a very minimal sludge volume. This simplifies solid waste management and its associated costs.
Pollution Shock Loads
Changes in client’s production patterns consequently alter the effluent pollution characteristics. ECOT® is capable of handling such shock loads or surges in pollution levels (COD/TOC) with minor tuning without downtime.
Improved RO
Performance
ECOT® treatment does not use conventional chemicals or biological processes, resulting in improved downstream filtration and reverse osmosis performance due to the absence of chemical or biofouling buildup on membranes.
Less Manpower for Operations
The simpler operational techniques of ECOT® treatment require significantly fewer personnel.
